The coast line is ever-changing, and the beaches are never alike two year in a row. The magnificent beaches, the ocean and the nature surrounding Hirtshals, Tornby and Tversted attracts many guests throughout the year. The fresh sea air provided new energy and all year round the beaches can be used as destinations for various activities.
At the beach you can see the white bathing flag of the municipality which symbols the great quality and the great facilities that are located on the beach. At the beach you will find garbage bins, and we always recommend you to clean up after yourself and leave our beaches beautiful.
The beaches invite for long walks – in great weathers as well as bad weather. The ocean and the wind can be tough and can easily provide rosy cheeks.
At Tornby beach and Tversted beach you will in the summer see the watchtowers from Tryg. They guard over the beach safety and watches over the many bathing guests. The beaches in the west has high waves and beautiful dunes. In the east the water can be calmer making these beaches ideal for windsurfing.
